Welcome to a platform for sharing real-life mindful experiences.

Here "mindful" refers to consciously giving some awareness to the experience in hand, irrespectively of how this is brought about: it could be meditative practice at home, a few deep breaths during a meeting, a free dive in the ocean, or spontaneously with no particular instigation.


A mindful experience can have particular qualities that often go unnoticed in the hustle of everyday life.  A mundane occurrence could be experienced in technicolour, or perhaps one may "catch" themselves reacting to a situation, leading to a wiser choice.  My name is John, I live in the UK and find such accounts fascinating and often nourishing, hence the creation of Mindful Experiences Blog.  In addition I have added general posts that may be of interest in the section Other Posts.
