Diary #140 Recognising Nourishment

One useful thing that mindfulness practice - intentionally being more present -  is helping me recognise, is the value of nourishing activities.

This can be through fun, achievement or purpose.

Even activities that don’t seem nourishing themselves can often have nourishing elements. For example, working long hours this week may not have been my preferred choice, but completion this Friday gave me a high which contributed to my having a productive discussion, rather than a spiteful argument, with my son.

I reckon it is super helpful to tune in to the nourishment of experiences out there, especially in the hidden corners.
