I find that achievement, however small, gives me dose of joy and confidence - apparently the result of a dopamine hit.
Knowing this can be helpful for times where these ingredients are needed. For example, prior to my important morning meeting, why don’t I beat my week’s sit-up target?
And why not, pre-emptively, create some life goals which are both achievable and accessible? For when that dopamine hit may come in handy.
