2# Attention Training
Where my attention goes is often a very quick subconscious decision/action: the thought, the phone ring, the pain… I wonder how often I am distracted, or not-fully-there?
The first step to mindfulness practice is attention training. I intentionally focus on my breath and when another stimulus pulls it away, be it a noise, a thought... I bring it back. Steadily I train my attention muscle.
Hmm, I wonder how having greater control of my attention would improve my daily life...
